BioGraph can offer a wide range of high quality 2D materials obtained using green sustainable processes. All the synthesis methods we use are based on the principles of sustainable chemistry. Other hybrid materials can also be prepared on request.
All our 2D nanomaterials are prepared by exfoliation of its original bulk material in a planetary mill using biocompatible exfoliating agents, in the absence of solvents and mineral acids. As before, our work-up procedure guarantees the removal of any remaining exfoliating agent.

Nanoparticles Anchored on 2D Nanomaterials
We have developed a new methodology where it is possible to obtain exfoliated nanomaterials including graphene and TMDC (WS2 and MoS2), decorated with different nanoparticles, such as copper, niquel, titanium oxides and metalic silver and cobalt.
All batches of our products are characterised by Raman spectroscopy, HRTEM (High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy), TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis), TXRF (Total X-ray fluorescence), Elemental Analysis, and Sheet Resistance. Each sample supplied will be accompanied by the characterisation data and spectra.
All products are supplied in powder form and can be easily dispersed in water and other media.
The dispersions in aqueous media are stable during the first 24 hours. After that time some of the material may precipitate but, if this occurs, it can be redispersed by brief ultrasonication (cycles of 10 seconds, no more than 2 minutes). This methodology ensures a good dispersion of the material.
Our nanomaterial products can also be dispersed directly in culture medium (recommended concentration of around 0.1 mg/mL) and such samples would be stable during several hours. Stabilising agents are not required.
Recommendations for storage:
Our products are stable at room temperature and refrigeration is not required during storage.
